Who is Lisa Boggs Photography?

This week I attended the Digital Wedding Forum Convention for the first time ever, and was really happy to get to know some people and listen to some uber talented photographers speak!  One of the speakers (Kevin Kubota) had a great segment about branding your company, and I thought his exercise in finding keywords specific to your company was really fascinating.  So, I thought I’d try it out!

Most of these keywords are from a list he had, but I added some more that I thought might apply.  So, the question is:  If you had to pick three words out of the list, which would you choose to describe my photographic style?  Can you find them in this list?  Would they be other words not in the list?  Fire away!  Here are your choices:

joy
bright
humorous
passionate
fun
breathtaking
insightful
sexy
stylistic
different
love
sincere
crisp
delightful
romantic
peaceful
realistic
dreamy
fantasy
nostalgic
clean
innovative
detailed
complex
fashionable
classic
heart-stopping
contemporary
natural
impressionistic
fresh
friendly
sophisticated
edgy
retrospective
beautiful
honest

Don’t be shy!  I would absolutely love to know your thoughts!  If you need to review more of my work, go to http://www.lisaboggsphotography.com.

Thanks!

Lisa

Kudos to you Lisa for getting this going!

Bold, Romantic, Fresh

A couple of tips on this exercise: I used the images on your homepage to come up with my keywords as I assume they are very representative of your style and favorites. I also turned the music off (not because I don’t like it :-) but because it will tend to influence the thought process and keywords. The music is great once you have your keywords and are trying to share that with the world, as long as the keywords and music match! In your case, after looking at the images and keywording them, I think the music does fit nicely.

Beautiful images!

Cheers,
Kevin

kevin kubota! whoa! I am so not worthy! ha ha ha! :)

well, I didn’t follow your instructions perfectly, kevin, but I wanted to do something while it was still fresh in my mind! thank you so much for the comments, I really appreciate it! you’re tops! your thought on turning the music off is really interesting too…I never thought of turning it off to sort of see how I felt about the images on their own. but I am also very picky about the music on my site, as I want them to flow with the images, so it’s good to know that they seem to work both ways! hurray!

once I decide how to re-brand things and kick things up a notch, i’ll certainly email you to get your opinion! thanks again! (and you were fab at the convention…sorry I didn’t get a chance to say hello!)

take care,

lisa
