Lisa Boggs Goes Boudoir!

I’m finally getting around to posting my first boudoir session that I participated in with my fabulous roommates while at the DWF Convention in Nashville!  For those who are new to this, boudoir photography is a style of portraiture where women (and men) pose in artfully sexy, fun and beautiful poses that are aimed to peak the interest of their significant others.  Since I actually participated in this (and yes, there are photos of me out there, and no…I won’t link them!), I can attest that it’s totally new and different to me…but I honestly think it’s the most fun EVER!  It was so fun to pose and equally fun to photograph, and I have to say, I’m really excited about integrating this style of photography into my business.

Below are some images that I loved from the shoot!  We started out taking our photos in our hotel room, which is where most boudoir sessions occur (obviously, somewhere private!).  But then (because we’re photographers and we crave cool locations), we managed to make our way into an elevator and then into a stairwell.  Yippee!  I was very pleased with the images below, but please let me know what you think (even if you aren’t as into them as I are!).  Many thanks to my awesome roommates!  I miss you gals! :D

Thanks for looking everyone!

Lisa

P.S.  Just if you’re curious:  1) I styled the beehive in my roommate’s hair in these photos!  and 2) The third shot from the bottom was taken in the elevator, with me looking up into the mirror on the ceiling of the elevator.  Pretty cool, no?!

Lisa, these are really great! I’m going to blog about them on my chicklit blog. I think boudoir photography is definitely chicklit related. This is a new trend that 20-30 something women will want to know about!
