Allison and Ryan’s Bristow Manor Wedding – Part One!

It's cloudy and cold on this Thursday afternoon, but I haven't been feeling so bad looking at Allison and Ryan's wedding! I photographed their special day a few weeks ago at the Bristow Manor Golf Club, and I get so much warmth and delight from it...it makes me super happy! You might remember Allison and Ryan from their engagement photos at the Manassas Battlefield. The day of their engagements was a very cloudy and rainy day, however their wedding day was just the opposite in terms of weather! It was a gorgeous, with so much sunlight and an incredible sunset...really the most ideal you can get for a wedding! The brightness and love of the day totally comes through in their photos! You'll see that Allison and Ryan really incorporated a lot of DIY elements in their wedding, and carried a white/navy/green theme throughout! I really loved that Allison painted pumpkins white, which gave the fall theme some unique elegance! I also loved how they used Ryan's last name, "Bell," as a design element with their Jar of Wishes cards and their table place cards! Their details fit in so well with the beautifully white Bristow Manor, and I don't think it could have looked better. My favorite part of their wedding was during the ceremony though, when they had the blessing of their wedding rings! Allison and Ryan used a small, white fabric pumpkin to hold their rings, and had the guests pass it around (before the ring exchange). I'd never seen anything like that, but it was a beautiful way for their family and friends to participate by having every person acknowledge their rings and bless them in their new marriage. So cool!

Many thanks to Allison and Ryan, their family and friends, and to Karen and the crew at Bristow Manor Golf Club for allowing us to drive around on some golf carts (you'll see one of the happy couple in one below!). I had such a blast and I hope you enjoy the photos below! And stay tune for part two to follow soon!

Thanks for looking!

Love,

Lisa
