Crystal and Stephen's Wedding Photo Booth!

It's time for Crystal and Stephen's wedding photo booth!  Yay!  This past weekend we had a blast working with Crystal, Stephen, and their family and friends.  I'm so glad Crystal and Stephen decided to include the photo booth in their wedding, as we were really able to get some amazing shots!  Many thanks to Debi Parker for helping me out with these photos.  To view more of these, you can find them in their Facebook gallery here, or contact Crystal directly for the full gallery password.  Enjoy!

Casey and Brad's Tower Club Wedding Photo Booth!

I had the pleasure of recently photographing Casey and Brad's Tower Club wedding, and before I post the full wedding, I have to post their photo booth shots!  Casey and Brad had such an amazing group between their family and friends.  Every single person at that wedding got in the photo booth which was awesome!  I love how playful everyone was and how they utilized all of the props on their prop table.  It was incredibly hard to narrow down which ones to blog, as I like all of them, but here you go!  Stay tuned for the full gallery of photo booth photos, followed by their full wedding post!  Enjoy! Oh...and yes...I was in a few of the photos.  *grin*

Gotta promote where ya can!

Katie and Tom's Georgetown and Silver Spring Wedding Photo Booth!

Hurray for photo booths!  I recently photographed the adorable Katie and Tom, and was delighted that when they booked me, they added a photo booth!  I can't say enough good things about adding this feature to your package.  Where else can you get your aunt and uncle to wear some crazy garb and get in front of the camera?  Sure, I'll probably photograph them candidly on the dance floor...but wouldn't you rather have a photograph of them with crazy huge sunglasses on their faces, along with some awesome mustaches on a stick?  Of course you would!  And with Katie and Tom's wedding their family and friends did not disappoint!   Scroll below to see some hilarious photographs, and if you're part of this awesome group, you can head over to see some of them on Facebook (and even use one as a profile photo!) or you can head over to the main gallery page, see the full gallery, and purchase one if you like!  Enjoy! Thanks for looking!

Ingrid and Pat's Marine and Navy Wedding - Part Two!

I'm back with part two of Ingrid and Pat's wedding day, continuing with photos all taken at the gorgeous The Mayflower Renaissance Washington, DC Hotel!   If you missed part one, check it out here, and go here for their hilarious photo booth photos! I had a hard time narrowing these down (which you'll probably realize once you get scrolling!).  I just thought there were so many unique photographic opportunities at this venue!  My favorites from this group are probably the ones taken from outside the Mayflower, looking up at Ingrid and Pat on the balcony of their hotel suite.  However, I also love the ones of them in front of the theatre-like curtain of the ballroom we had the reception in!  Eek!  Too many choices (see why I had a hard time?).

All in all, the entire reception experience was amazing.  Ingrid and Pat's family and friends didn't disappoint at all (particularly on the dance floor!), and you can just see the excitement in the air!  I had such a wonderful time photographing Ingrid and Pat's wedding, and I can't thank them enough for the opportunity.  Thanks so much guys, and please enjoy the photos below!

Ingrid and Pat's Marine and Navy Wedding - Part One!

Last week I posted photos from Ingrid and Pat's hilarious photo booth.  This week it's time to take a glimpse at Ingrid and Pat getting ready for their wedding and getting officially hitched! To recap, I met Ingrid and Pat over a year ago: Ingrid is a nurse and Lieutenant in the United States Navy and Pat is a Landing Force Communications Officer in the United States Marine Corps.  Ingrid was deployed in Afghanistan for most of 2010, but returned in the late Fall of 2010.  This couple is just extraordinary, and you can tell in the photos that they love each other dearly.  What I love most about them is that they're both fun-loving, but both can turn on their inner models like that!  However, it doesn't last too long because Pat is the comedian of the duo, always there to do a few hilarious impressions (my personal fav, Gloria, from Modern Family) to make Ingrid laugh.  You'll be able to tell in some of their ceremony photos that Pat just could not contain himself and made Ingrid giggle a few times.  :)

I hope you enjoy these photos below!  The getting ready shots were taken at The Mayflower Renaissance Washington, DC Hotel, and the ceremony shots were at the Fort Meyer Chapel.  We did stop at Iwo Jima on the way back to the reception site and got some beautiful photos there too!   Enjoy!

Hello beautiful people!  Well, it's officially official.  I have launched a new website for 2011!  Squee!  The new site is at the exact same web address (www.lisaboggsphotography.com), but looks a little different!  I'm very pleased with how it turned out (and that it's working!), but definitely let me know what you all like or dislike about it if you have any comments!   Many thanks to everyone who supported me throughout the website switcharoo process (you know who you are) and a thousand thank you's to my amazing clients who make this whole thing possible!  Thanks so much for looking, and I appreciate any and all feedback!  :)

Ingrid and Pat’s Marine and Navy Wedding – Photo Booth!

I recently had delight of being able to photograph Ingrid and Pat's wedding at Fort Myer and The Mayflower Renaissance Washington, DC Hotel!  I met this incredibly couple over a year ago: Ingrid is a nurse and Lieutenant in the United States Navy and Pat is a Landing Force Communications Officer in the United States Marine Corps.  Ingrid was deployed in Afghanistan for most of 2010, but I was overjoyed when she returned in the late Fall of 2010 so we could connect again! Before I can share the actual wedding photos, I have to publish these photo booth photos...as they are just incredible.  Ingrid added the photo booth to her wedding package a few weeks before the wedding, and it was a fantastic way to get her friends and family in front of the camera without it necessarily being awkward.  Think about it: you hate getting your photo taken, but if you're wearing giant silver sunglasses and a mustache on a stick, you're like a completely different person!  Ha ha ha!  Needless to say, her family and friends did an amazing job in front of the camera and I hope you enjoy the photos below.  My favorites?  Probably the last sequence of Pat getting a kiss.  So hilarious!

I'll give you one guess as to what this guy was dancing to in this next photo:

Kim and Dan's Photo Booth - Thomas Birkby House, Leesburg, Virginia!

This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Kim and Dan's wedding, two very good friends of mine! We met almost a year ago, just before I took their engagement photos in Riverbend Park, and I have been eagerly awaiting their wedding ever since! Well, I knew early on that Kim and Dan wanted a photo booth at their wedding, and I was very excited to incorporate that on their big day! Mike was nice enough to head up the photo booth for me while I ran around taking the wedding photos at the lovely Thomas Birkby House. I think the results were fantastic, as Kim and Dan's guests were more than happy to indulge in some fun photos with props! Below are a few photos from the event, but if you'd like to see the whole gallery on Facebook, you're more than welcome to here, or if you were a guest of the wedding and wish to see them without the watermark, you may go here and request your gallery password. Enjoy!
